"On-campus worship nightsSINGSPIRATIONsinging in churches throughout Texas and neighboring statesChristmas on 5thChurch Under the Bridgemissions in Waco and around the worldthats the ministry we still do!
Growing together as a familysmall group Bible studiesfamily dinnersDessert Theatertwice a week rehearsalsretreatsone-on-one ministry to each otherthats how we continue to grow in our love for each other and for the Lord we have all served since 1948.
A committee comprised of BRH Alumni and current BRH leadership began in the fall of 2010 to pray and dream and envision just how we can make sure that all of the wonderful things that are ministry through and ministry to BRH Choir can continue to happen for decades to come. In the truest sense of the phrase, BRH continues Living the Legacy that generations of BRH members have laid before us. And now, the desire of the Endowment Steering Committee* is to ask you to join in Enabling a Future.
BRH is a student organization, and receives no budgetary funds from the university. The primary sources of support continue to be offerings at concerts and gifts by generous individuals. Those gifts provide for the regular expenses of operating the choir throughout the year. However, they do not provide what is necessary to continue to follow the call of the Great Commission to go into all the world, or to provide funds for emergency needs, equipment replacement and repair, new music and other costly needs.
A goal of $500,000 has been established. Endowment funds at Baylor provide an annual average of 5% expendable funds. In addition, we would encourage you to consider both an endowment gift and a gift toward current needs. If you would like more information regarding the goal, the process, or any other concerns, please e-mail Meghan_St_Cyr@baylor.edu.
Please take a moment to watch each of these videos. And after you have done so, please prayerfully consider your part in enabling the next generation of BRH to continuing living the legacy!
